Israel Camille (born on March 28, 1971, in Gonaives, Haiti) is a prominent radio DJ, broadcast producer, radio host, and the visionary founder of Radio Haiti Fusion.
From a young age, Israel showed a keen interest in music and media, which eventually led him to pursue a career in radio broadcasting. He began his professional journey as a DJ in 1994 at Radio Haiti Inter, where he quickly gained popularity for his dynamic style and deep understanding of Haitian music and culture.
In 2000, seeking broader horizons and more opportunities, Israel moved to New York City. There, he furthered his education and honed his skills, graduating from City College with a degree in Broadcasting, Digital Media, and Business Management. This educational background equipped him with the technical expertise and managerial acumen necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of radio and digital media.
In New York, Israel’s passion for Haitian culture and music remained undiminished. This passion led him to establish Radio Haiti Fusion, a platform dedicated to promoting Haitian music, culture, and news. Under his leadership, Radio Haiti Fusion has become a vital voice for the Haitian community, both in the diaspora and in Haiti.
Israel Camille’s career is marked by his commitment to excellence and his dedication to using media as a tool for cultural preservation and community empowerment.
